Noren
æš–ç°¾

Noren is a traditional Japanese curtain split into 2 or more panels.

Over time, its use evolved. Protecting the home from the elements, it could also be used to display the family coat-of-arms and to distinguish stalls. Noren is inseparable from Japanese culture.

My Noren are created on Kozo (Japanese paper made from mulberry fiber).

Their transparency to light brings the cyanotype and the paper to life. They represent a world in touch with Nature.
